Grants and Funding

Bonefish & Tarpon Trust allocates funds based upon the priority levels in the Research Frameworks. The Frameworks are reviewed and revised if necessary by the Research Committee at the November board meeting. Funds are allocated to research priorities at the April board meeting (typically on or about april 20). Requests For Proposals are posted in late April. Proposals are due June 1, and announcement of funding is on July 1. Bonefish & Tarpon Trust accepts grant proposals in response to RFPs.  Bonefish & Tarpon Trust pays up to a maximum 10% overhead on all grants.
